Michael Andrews, EA, CPA, CFP® Michael is the acting manager of Andrews Advisors and has worked in public accounting since 1990, holding proprietary positions since 1993. He oversees management, scheduling, planning, research and review of client services, and uses a team approach in helping clients attain their financial goals. In addition to being a Certified Public Accountant, he received his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® certification from the CFP Board of Standards. Michael is also an Enrolled Agent, licensed by the US Department of Treasury. He is a member of several professional organizations including the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Financial Planning Association (FPA). Michael earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix. Michael resides in Wadsworth with his wife, Mary, and children, Eric and Katy. Carolyn A. Housley, Tax Accountant Carolyn joined Andrews Advisors in 1999 and works in the Accounting & Tax and Financial Advisory Departments. She has more than 15 years of accounting and tax experience and has attended the University of Akron for business courses. She recently sat for the Enrolled Agent special examination in 2004. On the financial side, Carolyn has a Life, Health & Annuity insurance license in the state of Ohio. Carolyn is very much a team player always keeping the clients’ needs and goals uppermost in mind. Carolyn works extensively with payroll, tax preparation and related advisory services, however, she also has training in accounting and retirement planning. Carolyn resides in Canal Fulton. Laura Beckham, Administrative Support/Bookkeeping Laura joined the team of Andrews Advisors, Inc. in 2011 to work in our accounting department. She has over thirty years experience in the manufacturing industry focusing but not limited to accounts payable and payroll. Laura received her degree in Business Management from the University of Akron. Laura resides in New Franklin. Jason, has been in the IT field for over 10 years. He continually strives to keep his clients aware of the extensive options available in todays growing fields of Information Technology and Multimedia Design. He manages corporate E-Newsletters, implements E-Marketing plans, and assists in E-Commerce operations. He is also experienced in the areas of Internet, Graphic, and Multimedia Design, having managed design projects for several websites, CD-Roms, compact discs, video games and motion pictures. Jason and his wife, Julie, manage their corporation in Akron, OH.
Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Inc. owns the certification marks CFP-TM, Certified Financial Planner-TM and federally registered CFP (with flame design) in the US, which it awards to individuals who successfully complete CFP Board’s initial and ongoing certification requirements. | ||||||||||||||||
